History of Czekalski Real Estate, Inc.
Betty Czekalski founded Betty Czekalski Agency in 1963 in a small office in Natrona, PA. The business quickly grew and within a year the agency moved to a bigger office along Freeport Road in Natrona Heights.
Betty purchased the former Baechtel's Greenhouse along Freeport Road with her son Wallace and daughter in law Janet, and remodeled it into offices. Years turned into decades and Betty Czekalski Agency eventually became Czekalski Real Estate Inc. In the 1980’s the third generation of the Czekalski family joined Betty in her real estate business and we are proud that a fourth generation of family members have joined the company. We are sure that Betty would be overjoyed to know the business flourishes with multiple generations working together, serving new generations of the same families she worked with. Very often, clients will share their fond memories of Betty with us.
The current home of the company is 2725 Freeport Road, Natrona Heights. Wally and Janet purchased the Harrison Estate, built by John Harrison who founded Harrison Township, and lovingly converted the home into offices. Wally currently oversees a staff of state certified appraisers in the appraisal services department and Janet manages the sales staff.
Our company is unique to our area because it has stayed in the same family and has been passed down through generations. Christine Czekalski Spece originally worked as the company's general secretary many years ago before becoming a sales associate. Their other daughter, Michelle, is a Certified General Appraiser, Associate Broker and Real Estate Instructor.
Czekalski Real Estate, Inc. is an innovative company searching for new ways to serve our community. The company has continued to grow because of our dedicated staff who are all like family to us, and proud to have repeatedly been voted the top real estate company many times over.
